Two Cool Christian Parody Things to Check Out

The list was first compiled a decade ago by longtime ApX fan and friend Jay Crook of Corpus Christi TX. He continues to maintain that page and recently updated it to include all of our CDs from this past year.
Jay is an excellent parody writer himself and does the lyrics for another Christian parody band called Petrafried. The musical side of things is handled by another old friend of ApologetiX, Arron Daniels, whom we first met when he was a radio personality in Corpus Christi. He coordinated a number of ApX concerts in Texas and later in Arizona, when he worked at a radio staton in Sierra Vista.
Petrafried released their first album, Parodies Lost. in 2009, and many ApologetiX fans have enjoyed it. The band just released their second album, Altared, this month.
It features 15 parodies of artists as diverse as Alice in Chains, The Beatles, The Champs, Devo, Dropkick Murphys, EchoSmith, Evanescence, Lady A, Lady Gaga, Tom Petty & Stevie Nicks, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, and X Ambassadors.
