Prayer Request Updates: Angela Walker & Bill Turner

Here are updates to two prayer requests we first told you about two weeks ago. If you missed that article, you can read it at http://apologetix.com/news/news-details.php?news_id=4301
I just talked with my son tonight, and he told me that he had spoken with Angela's main doctor there at the hospital. The doctor told him that, in his opinion, she has a very poor chance of surviving this.
Her kidneys are struggling and the pneumonia in her lungs has not improved at all. They have been having a hard time doing dialysis because the blood keeps clotting up the port and they are worried about it clotting in her body.
I'm really struggling through all of this. I'm torn. I want her to stay here with me but I don't want her to suffer. I know that there is a really good possibility that I'll probably have to let her go. Man, it's like someone telling you you have to cut half your body off.
I trust the Lord to do what's best for her, and if she does die, I am comforted in the fact that she will finally be free. Free from all her pain and suffering and she will be with Jesus which is the best place to be! But still I feel the pain of possibly being alone for the first time in 33 years.
Please keep praying for us both and thank you for all the prayers they are a comfort to me in these trying times!

Bill is still in the same state he has been for weeks. He also got a new infection in his lung. It was only days between his last one being resolved and this one coming on.
I saw him yesterday and he didn't look peaceful like the times prior. And his monitors were going off a lot. It was very unpleasant.
That was the first time I cried when I saw him. It also didn't help that they shaved his mustache off. In 25 years of marriage, he has only shaved it off maybe five times.
I have seen him in person three times now, and every time he had looked different. The first time, he had a beard. The second time, a goatee. This time, no face hair at all.

We got another update from Lynn just as this newsletter was about to be sent out:
So a small update on Bill: They are moving him from 24 hour-a-day dialysis to four hours, three times a week. They say his kidneys are still not functioning, but this is common to switch after they get your blood pressure situated. So I am thinking that means his blood pressure is stable, at least.
I can praise the Lord for that. They mentioned a scary word today: "sepsis." He either had or has sepsis. I didn't quite catch the wording on the phone. But he is currently on two different antibiotics, as he had the second lung infection.
Thanks to all of you who are praying for Angela and Clint and Bill and Lynn. We wish we had better news to report, but we are thankful that both Angela and Bill are still alive, and so we will continue to hope and pray. In addition to praying for miraculous improved health for Angela and Bill, please pray for wisdom, comfort, and strength for Clint and Lynn. Thank you again.
