Build the Bus

A couple hours at my home away from Home Depot and we came home with the two circuit breaker boxes we needed. I showed Hubie what I knew about wiring circuits (didn’t take long, I don’t know much and Hubie’s a sharp hombre). After the Hubauer manclan left, Ted “Second Shift” Davidson and son Cameron showed up for another late night session. By 2am, we’d wired in the Kitchen and closed up all the walls. We also wired in most of the bathroom. Tomorrow Hubie’s back to wire the rest of the circuit box while I wire in the bunks and finish the front booth.
Circuit City
And Destiny is exhausted from hearing about it.
A guy at Home Depot had No-Doze on floor and a brewsky in the cupholder
Well it’s a hot one
Aaron increased his knowledge with his incessant questions (I love that!)
Another day another 12 hours in the bus
Hubie headed into the top bunk to wire the circuit box from behind
Workin’ together
Did I mention we did the upholstering yesterday? We did the other two today
Let’s put a board behind this circuit box to make it more solid
Assessing the situation...
Ok, Hubie’s on the job
The labels that came with the circuit box have “swimming Pool” but not “Recording Studio”
Brothers Hubauer did a great job cleaning up the front room
How did we end up with all these wires!
THEY”RE KILLING US!
Circuit breakers are laid out according to our design
Nathan hard at work on Karl’s Porch (Bus not in range of WiFi network)

Counter gets an outlet and the bathroom outlet is visible.
Wires
Cut a hole for an outlet for the front room.
Hours later, Ted and Cameron appear to help button up the kitchen
That’s a wired Wall!
Two, count ‘em TWO circuit breaker boxes.
Bathroom GFCI outlet and light switch are wired in and finished.
Nice job, Ted!
Looks like the bus has a tapeworm!
No Glue, Know sqeaks
Know glue, NO squeaks.
All this twisting and reaching is like a great Yoga session for the abs!
Just waiting on electrc box covers I’ll get when Home Depot opens
Pantry is finished (and clamped for gluing)
Bathroom’s done (swell outlet)
Karl’s upholstery shop in the horsebarn
Benches done, we’ll do the backs when we get the right foam.
It’s official! We’ve run out of funding. And only about 5k short of budget. Please help Build the Bus.
